The prompt I chose is "bedtime story." 8D The title is bedtime story yet there is no bedtime story told in this comic. Irony~
In reality this comic sticks more with the general theme of this month than a specific prompt, the general theme being "tell me a story." In this case it's BACK STORY!

And flashback! Wooo

If you're wondering why this comic is so random and jumps all over the place is cause I made this comic up on the spot. No planned idea, just making it up one panel at a time.

I gotta say, this comic is kind of depressing. 8O Wasn't expecting that.

This is why I believe a romance with Maka is almost impossible in canon. Well, it would be if the divorce of her parents and her cheating father weren't played for laughs. Poor Maka could have been traumatized from seeing her parents fight throughout her childhood. She already has the slight hatred for men going on. Maybe she's also disillusioned about the concept of love and marriage as well.

I have no idea how Maka's mom looks like. I just drew a random chick to be Maka's mom. I wonder if she will ever appear in the manga?

In case you haven't noticed, I love drawing facial expressions.

They're my favorite part to draw on a person. No need to worry about dull surprise expressions from me!

The fancy paneling isn't just only for dramatic effect. It is also there to distract you from how empty those panels are. XD lol I'm so resourceful

There's probably a lot of spelling and/or grammar errors in this comic. I didn't double check it. I was too lazy too.

Also my chicken scratch is probably too small/ugly to read. More so than usual, anyway.

So is there anyone else who thinks that day-old French fries taste pretty damn tasty? Cause I do.

Damn I'm tired. X.X
