Ahhh my apologies my kind folks. I haven't been replying to your heartfelt comments a lot lately. I've been busy, yeah? But I shall try my best to reply to all of them!!! Except for the one word comments like "cool" or "lol funny." I love all the comments I receive (whether they be about nothing related to the drawing at hand or scathing flames) but frankly one word responses piss me off. I usually just ignore those yo.

So I went with my friend to Petco when she was buying 2 pet birds. When we looked at the birds available there were 2 birds in a cage all alone, sitting on the same perch and huddled very close together as if they were lovers (possibly true since one is male and the other is female). It would be a crime to separate the birds. We instantly went "AAWWWW THAT'S ADORABLE." What's even more adorable is that the bigger (and presumably male) bird was very protective of his smaller partner. And so I got inspired to doodle this.

Yeaaaaah this comic is messy and sketchy and ugly. I didn't really bother to clean it up. OH WELL.

You know I was initially going to make this a SoulXMaka comic but then I was all like "Fuck that I ship ASURA X MAKA BITCHES" and drew AsuraXMaka. 8D Besides, there's enough SoMa in the world to satisfy the needs of the canon shippers. AsuraXMaka is a rarity, man!
Speaking of which, for those who actually ship this crack pairing, which name order do you prefer for the pairing? I prefer to put Asura before Maka cause it's in alphabetical order. Or, for shipping in general, do you prefer to use and X or a / for pairings? Or some portmanteau name of the characters?

Here's some back story for this comic that I made up but never expressed in the comic! Maka didn't have a cage when she arrived at the pet store so the owner of the store (Blair) had to let Maka stay with Asura for a while. Blair placed her with Asura cause she hoped that Maka's friendly and stubborn nature could help make the extremely anti-social and paranoid chibi Asura more social. The chibis hated each other at first but they learned to get along. When Maka's cage finally arrived Asura refused to let Maka be taken away so Maka was stuck sharing a cage with him.

It really is better to just buy Maka and Asura together. Cause 1. Maka would be lonely without Asura 2. Asura bites, breaks things, and is in general a little ball of chaos without Maka and 3. Asura would cry if Maka left him alone. And making chibis cry is not cool, yo.

My mouse scroll doesn't work anymore. D: At first I thought it was some sort of internet thing cause this has happened to me before with the internet but the scroll isn't working for all applications. Tartar sauces. How troublesome it is to be unable to use the scroll!
